Kennels
Your
pets are our guests to be pampered, coddled, and catered to in
our spacious kennel rooms or the house courters. From the
massive Mastiff to the tiny little Maltese, they can play,
chew on a bone, stretch out, or curl up in a draft free corner
to nap. The doors to their very own, 12 ft. long, outdoor runs
are opened all day for exercise.
We
also provide 3 times a day unleashed (freedom) turn outs into
special graveled and partially covered outdoor
play yards for dogs
to romp, play, enjoy
shade or sunshine, or just sniff around while exploring the
forest that surrounds the kennel facility always protected from
sudden rainstorms.
Breakfast
at 9:00 AM... Dinner at 4:00 PM... Treats at noon just before
siesta time. And of course, fresh water is available at all
times.
When
the lights are lowered, soft classical music fills the air. As
we make the last rounds to say goodnight to each guest, fluff
up their beds, give the last medications and a little bedtime
treat, the kennel becomes a large dormitory, with sleepy kids
ready to call it a day cuddled up in their blankets, or
stretched out in relaxed contentment, tails wagging ever so
softly, thumping a gentle goodnight message for us.
With
our intercom and our alert house dog we maintain contact
throughout the night with the kennel and Cattery from our home
on the premises.
Kennel/Boarding
Immunization Policy
No
pet will be accepted without vaccination certificates currently
valid and on file with us for the following:
Dogs:
Rabies, Distemper (DHLPP), Bordetella
Please ask
your veterinarian to indicate on the certificates the expiration
date for each vaccine as there is some variation between
veterinarians as to the length of time each vaccination is
valid. You may have copies of the certificates faxed to Klassic
Tails Inn at (541) 935-1180 or bring copies when you drop off
your pet
Geriatric
Pets: Geriatric
pets
and those with significant chronic medical problems can be
boarded but staff will need to be informed in advanced of all
conditions and factors of their condition that can affect our
pets stay. When Klassic Tails Inn staff agrees
take in Medically fragile pets, additional contracts and medical
decisions are required.
